| Application: | Heavy metal free painting treatment
for Aluminium and Aluminium alloys based on silanes |
||
| Ingredients: | Phosphonic acid, silanes |

| Description: | After degreasing and pickling, the work pieces
must be cleaned with demineralised water. However, this makes a high rinsing
water quality before the SAM process procedure even more important. The
rinsed surfaces of the work pieces have to be free from outside ions. Now
can starts the passivation with SAM-process (Self Assembling Molecules). In the last step the coated work pieces will be cleaned with demineralised water from the surplus SAM-solution. Due no rinse process the cleaned with demineralised water is not necessary. The process water from other kind of rinsing, pickling and cleaning can be mixed with process water from SAM - process for the treatment in the VACUDEST®. Through the processing of the rinsing water with the VACUDEST® process, impurities such as salts, oil and surface active agents are safely removed and allow a constant high rinsing water quality to be achieved. Only via the VACUDEST® process with direct vapour compression is a germ free, desalted distillate available as rinsing water. |

| Practical experience: | Practical experience in continuous
operation shows that a 100% recycling and circulation process of the
rinsing waters leads to optimal cleaning results. Through the high quality
of the distillate we receive also optimal rinsing results. The SAM-process
is rarely added to and due to the long standing time is seldom faulty.
However, if this is the case it can be treated in the VACUDEST®. The VACUDEST® process
has proved itself in practice to be the most economical process in the
treatment of rinsing waters from SAM-process. A minimisation of water use
and a reduction in the disposal costs can be achieved by using the VACUDEST® for
the treatment of the process water from SAM-process. |
