| Application: | Rinsing water following a electrolyte
nickel plating, (Watts electrolyte) |
||
| Ingredients: | nickel sulphate, nickel chloride, boric acid, polishing
agent, surface active agent |
||
| Description: | In surface treatment the rinsing
water quality following nickel plating is of especially great importance
for further process steps, such as, for example, the final chroming.
There must be a low conductivity to be able to ensure a clean surface
of the work piece. Continual processing of the rinsing water through
the VACUDEST® process
makes rinsing water of the desired high quality available. With the processing
of rinsing water, the nickel electrolyte type is significant, if it must
be selected dependent on the required chloride-containing special material
for the evaporating unit. A processing of the electrolyte itself is not
economically sensible because of the high salt-concentration. Likewise,
rinsing water from a chemical nickel plating is not suitable for this
type of processing because of their contents. |

| Practical experience: | Practical experience with
vacuum distillation in continuous operation shows that a 100 % recycling
and circulation process of the rinsing waters leads to optimal cleaning
results. The concentrate from the VACUDEST® can have a sale realisation due to its high metal
salt content. With VACUDEST®, the reduction in fresh water costs
simultaneously reduces the processing costs of rinsing water to great
degree. |
