Due to formation of steam bubbles and due to temperature differences between sump and top a natural circulation flow is created inside the high flow heat exchanger. Due to that natural circulation flow the ActivePowerClean grinding balls are swirled around in the heat exchanger cleaning the inner surface and preventing formation of layers and incrustations.
